Simply because they don't value their "failed" candidates. In these companies many job seekers were rejected mostly in behavioral rounds. While I accept their rejections and I am also not doubting their potential to judge candidates, they should pass the exact feedback to their candidates.
Whenever Google or Facebook rejects, they give you a detail feedback on how to improve which is incredible and gives important points to improve. What I feel companies who don't give feedback either don't have valid reasons or they just don't find it worthy enough.
Interview is a two way process, it's just not the hiring team who is putting efforts it's the candidate too who's giving his time and energy and at least deserves to know the reason of why he was rejected.
